Music & Worship
Worship is a very big thing. In fact, if I had to sum up the Christian life in one word, it would be WORSHIP. The heart of our ministry centers on the call from Psalm 34:3, “Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together!” The Worship and Music Ministry of SBC is committed to creating worship environments that allow you the freedom to worship God. Our goal is to usher you into His presence and then get out of the way. We understand that different groups of people worship God in a variety of ways. In recognition of this, we conduct 3 different types of adult worship services on Sundays. Our 8:00 and 11:00 a.m. Contemporary Services utilize a more modern musical language, and our 9:30 a.m. Traditional Service employs the time honored hymns and songs of Christianity. The 6:00 p.m. worship service is more of a blend between Contemporary and Traditional.
